Established in 2003, with the aim of promoting "Hong Kong Chinese Music Culture", it is dedicated to demonstrating the unique charm of Chinese music "Small but Elegant, Simple yet Refined". The ensemble has assembled a number of professional young musicians from Hong Kong, specializing in the performance of traditional musical instruments of Lingnan music, aiming to inherit the unique Cantonese music culture of Hong Kong.

　　Since its inception, the ensemble has held more than 50 series concerts and more than 500 outreach concerts. It has premiered more than 50 new works by Hong Kong composers. There are countless international and Hong Kong local famous musicians who have performed together.

　　The ensemble has represented Hong Kong on many occasions to exchange performances around the world and to promote the "Hong Kong Chinese Music Culture". It has traveled to more than 20 countries and regions in Asia, North America and Europe. In 2018, it was invited to participate in the Kagoshima Asian Youth Art Festival of Japan and deeply loved.
